In former positions as a data warehouse manager I hired different BI companies. I found that the specific asset of Keyrus is that there is a good conceptual knowledge about BI in general and a strategic business plan to ensure their position in the quickly evolving BI market.
Another very important point is that Keyrus takes care of the way people feel in their job. A system of coaching is set up so that the personal career path is checked with different people.

The first project I was responsible for was the set-up up of a reporting environment for a company working in the area of palm oil production with plantations in Ghana, Gabon, Nigeria and Ivory Coast. In that project, I also took up the role of a data warehouse architect and ETL developer.
Today, I am working as a business analyst and data warehouse architect for a company specialised in industrial tooling and machinery. The project goal is to implement a complete entire reporting environment.
knowledge & skills
For some years I have been a project manager, also in former positions. It is only at Keyrus that I really learnt some very important aspects of good project management, i.e. project status reports, good communication, clear definition of scope etc. Also, I learned to put planning tools like MS Project into real practise. Although it was not easy, at least now I can say that I know how to make those tools valuable for managing project and being able to give a correct answer when people ask questions about what effect a change will have on a project.

The important point when working with Keyrus is that I can always count on other people whenever coming across problems in my projects. We are really working together as a team, which is not always the case in the consultancy world.
