challenges
Successful implementation of the performance management strategy requires careful assessment of a number of critical success factors and potential risks, together with an adequate project organization.
Keyrus has developed a unique value-adding proposition to guide its clients in initiating business intelligence and performance management initiatives, with a strong focus on the assessment of the organization's readiness.
Keyrus answer
Keyrus' approach is based on quick and structured workshops focused on the assessment of:
- the business needs: the objectives and business value of the initiative, the performance management requirements, and the customer expectations are evaluated from a global point of view, and a critical view will be given with regards to practical possibilities and a recommended approach.
- the organizational readiness: the organizational context, identifying all project stakeholders, needs to be well understood. Through focused questions during the workshops, Keyrus evaluates the readiness of all stakeholders with regards to the initiative. Other issues such as the collaboration between IT and finance, and the current understanding of the business intelligence and performance management concepts also need to be clearly identified.
- the technical readiness: we come to an agreed SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) of the organization's current environment. Through targeted questions and the outcome of this SWOT analysis, Keyrus issues recommendations with regards to prerequisites to be taken into account, also considering potential risks and critical success factors, and giving a first view on the project's feasibility.
